Cloud Chamber tracks No. 3
The tracks really stick out from others. Basically the thick, always about 4cm long traces are undoubtedly caused by alphas. Betas make thin and scattering bent traces. Muons seem to be responsible for the long straight ones but why do they once in a while turn out so thick? Is it an effect of depositing more energy when they are slowed?
